Claudine Desmond has been a legislative advocate with the firm since 1995.

Claudine has been actively representing the firm's clients in hearings, negotiations, and meetings in the State Capitol and throughout the state.

She brings a wealth of knowledge in formulating strategic approaches that incorporate lobbying, public affairs, and personal contacts in order to accomplish our clients' objectives.

Claudine has extensive lobbying experience working with our clients and legislators in regard to a variety of lobbying and public affairs issues, including:

• Developing issue-specific communications that persuasively advocate client positions with the Governor and legislators.
  
  
• Establishing relationships between client constituents in legislative districts throughout the state with their representatives in the Senate and Assembly.
  
  
• Making presentations to clients regarding pending legislation, including a recent web broadcast in which 650 of the client's customers were able to participate.
  
  
• Negotiating client positions on legislation, including amendments, support, and opposition.
  
  
• Writing and producing client newsletters and articles regarding legislation and politics.
  
  
• Developing and issuing press releases on key legislative developments.
  
  
• Crafting lobbying strategies to protect client positions in response to high profile challenges.
